It was a red letter day in the history of India when the country got her freedom on August 15, 1947. It took hundreds of years to us to break shackles of slavery. SPS celebrated 71th Independence Day festival with great pomp and show.
The function began with the unfurling of the National Flag by our honorable directors Mr. Vasudev Mangaramani and Mr. Jitendr Dodeja.
To keep alive the flame of patriotism, the students from classes III, IV and V Performed patriotic group songs which charged up the atmosphere with patriotic spirit.
Students of primary school conveyed the important message of patriotism and national spirit through "Walk For Nation" Followed by PT presentation of class 6 to 8.Inter house group folk dance competition was the centre of attraction of the day. all the four houses presented Unique and different folk/tribal dance forms and paid their tribute to the motherland. Blue house secured first position and red house secured second position in the competition. An invigorating speech given by the Principal Mr. Shyam Agrawal infused students with energy and vigour.
At Standard Public School it was indeed a day of joy, love and respect for the country and the students urged to make India a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
